The Camino de Santiago (the Way of St. James) is a large network of ancient pilgrim routes stretching across Europe and coming together at the tomb of St. James (Santiago in Spanish) in Santiago de Compostela in north-west Spain. Yearly, hundreds of thousands of people of various backgrounds walk the Camino de Santiago either on their own or in organized groups. The most popular route (which gets very crowded in mid-summer) is the Camino Francés which stretches 780 km (nearly 500 miles) from St. Jean-Pied-du-Port near Biarritz in France to Santiago.
I will challenge myself a bit more. I'll start at the end of April in Sluis (The Netherlands) and will walk through Belgium and France to Spain. It will take approximately 3 months.
Do you want to walk one or more stages with me? You want to catch up during one of my stops? That would be amazing! Take a look at the schedule underneath. You can fill in the form on this page and I'll contact you with further details.
Wil je 1 of meerdere etappes meewandelen? Fantastisch! Vul het formulier in en dan contacteer ik je met verdere informatie.
(Je kan de (voorlopige) route hieronder terugvinden.)
